Diabetes has proven to be a massive issue for any who have contracted this awful COVID-19 virus that is a plague for all humanity now.
The problem here is that, for lots of us anyway, there may not be a greater risk of getting it; any who do will suffer badly due to the vagaries associated with our respective diabetes conditions.
There certainly is a greater number of diabetes related deaths resulting from COVID-19, and that is just an awful fact we have to bear now.
The best thing we can all do at this time is to stay as safe as we possibly can and are able, lets look at the best ways to this, the excerpt is taken from WEB MD:
Currently, unfortunately, there isn’t a vaccine for COVID-19, the specific type of coronavirus that's spreading around the globe. The best way to keep yourself safe from this respiratory virus is not to get it in the first place.
You can lower your chances of getting or spreading the COVID-19 virus if you take these steps:
Wash your hands well and often. Use hand sanitizer when you’re not near soap and water.
Try not to touch your face.
Follow your community guidelines for staying home.
When you do go out in public, leave at least 6 feet of space between you and others.
Wear a mask when you go out.
Don’t leave your house if you don’t feel well.
Cover your mouth with your elbow when you cough, sneeze, or use a tissue.
Clean and disinfect places and things you touch a lot.
